Floor & Wall Tiling For Full House Renovations
Floors and walls, throughout the whole property, not just one bathroom, for homeowners, builders and developers taking on a larger project.
Floors and walls, throughout the whole property
Most of what we do isn't a single homeowner calling about one bathroom. It's a full house renovation, with floors and walls needing tiling right through the property: hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms, sometimes an entire ground floor in large-format porcelain. 90% of this work comes to us through builders managing the wider job, not direct from the homeowner.
What's included
- Floor tiling throughout a property: hallways, open-plan living spaces, kitchens, utility rooms, not just wet areas
- Wall tiling wherever it's specified, not only bathroom splashbacks
- Every bathroom in the renovation, tiled to one consistent standard and material spec
- One point of contact for the whole tiling package
- Scheduled around your other trades, and site-ready to work cleanly alongside them
Trade & volume pricing
For multi-room renovations and developments with repeat house types, we quote trade rates rather than pricing each room in isolation. Tell us the scope and rough timeline and we'll give you a proper number.

90% of this work comes through builders. Happy to talk trade rates directly.
Pricing
What actually moves the number
A single-bathroom refit and a full ground-floor renovation are priced on the same basis, just at different scale.
- Total floor and wall area across the whole property, not one room
- Number of bathrooms and whether each is specified to the same material or different ones
- Whether it's trade-rate work for a builder or developer, or a direct homeowner enquiry
- How much preparation the existing subfloors and walls need before tiling can start
- Scheduling around other trades already committed to the site
We walk through all of this on the site visit itself, so the figure you're quoted is the figure you pay.

“Incredible work from Brendan, totally transformed the room.”
Materials
The three materials behind almost everything we fit.
Full renovations often specify more than one material across the property. We help plan that spec room by room rather than quoting whatever's easiest to fit everywhere.
Large-Format Porcelain
Durable, genuinely waterproof, no sealing required, and fewer grout lines at large format (up to 1200×600mm) for a near-seamless wall or floor. The default recommendation for most rooms.
Natural Stone & Marble
Marble, travertine, limestone and granite: every slab genuinely unique. Needs sealing roughly once a year and is softer than porcelain, so it's worth it where the look matters most: a feature wall or a statement floor. Can etch or scratch if acidic cleaning products are used on it.
Ceramic & Mosaic
The practical choice for a smaller area, a niche, or detailed pattern work: easier to cut into shape than porcelain or stone, at a lower material cost. Best suited to walls rather than a heavy-traffic floor.
Method
The same sequence, scaled to a whole property.
No surprises part-way through. You know what happens next before we start.
Free site visit & quote
We look at the room in person rather than guessing from a phone call, and give you a real price within 24 hours, not a vague estimate.
Specification
We confirm the exact material, layout and any waterproofing or underfloor heating requirements before a single tile is ordered, so there's no mid-job surprise.
Preparation
Old tile removal if needed, levelling an uneven subfloor, and full waterproofing (tanking) in any wet area: the unglamorous work that decides whether the finish lasts.
Tiling, grouting & handover
Precision setting-out, cutting and laying, then grouting and sealing, finished with a walkthrough so you can check everything before we call the job done.

Frequently asked
Questions worth answering upfront.
Yes. Hallways, living spaces, utility rooms, wherever the renovation calls for it. Floor and wall tiling across the whole property is as much our work as any single room.
Yes. For multi-room renovations and developments we quote trade rates. Tell us what's involved and the rough timeline when you enquire and we'll give you a proper number, not a placeholder.
Yes, this is how most of our work already happens. We fit in around plumbers, electricians and other trades still on site rather than needing the property to ourselves.
We'll do a free site visit and turn the quote around within 24 hours, on a project this size we'd rather see it in person than guess from a phone call.
That's fine: start with a single quote via our Bathroom Tiling or Kitchen Tiling pages, and we can talk trade rates once there's a clearer picture of the full project.
Yes. This is normal on a full renovation. We'll help plan the material spec across the whole property, not just quote whatever's easiest to fit everywhere.
Yes. Consistent specification and finish across multiple identical properties is exactly the kind of volume work we're set up for, with trade rates to match.
It happens on almost every renovation. We stay in contact with whoever's running the project and adjust our slot rather than holding a fixed date that no longer matches the site.
